Some rich boys went to college in colonial times.  They studied Greek, Latin, French, mathematics, history and geography.  Women and poor men did not go to college.  The most famous colonial colleges are Harvard College, now called Harvard University, and Collegiate School, now called Yale University.  I would not go to college in colonial times because I am not rich.
